ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo became Visit Korea Year (VKY) 2023-24 project ambassador.
However, the promotion of Korean tourism officially will be done by Cha Eunwoo!
Fantagio statement
“Eunwoo was officially chosen as an ambassador/ representative for 2023-24 (VKY) Visit Korea Year,” issued an announcement by ASTRO’s agency Fantagio following on May 24.
Additionally, the Korean Ministry of Culture (MC), Sports & Tourism (ST), Visit Korea Committee (KC), & Korea Tourist Organisation are promoting the “2023-24 (VKY) Visit Korea Year” initiative to take the forefront of global tourism at a period when the tourist sector is rebounding and growing competitive right at the same period.
Eunwoo duties
Cha Eunwoo, the project ambassador, intends to lead the charge in enhancing worldwide recognition of Korean culture, beginning with marketing initiatives to promote Korean tourism worldwide. Particularly, Eunwoo is projected to exercise his impact on a worldwide scale via a variety of activities, among which is acting, as numerous contents fusing tourism & Korean culture, notably K-pop, sports, plus art, are established.

The most recent achievement for Eunwoo came from his portrayal of John in channel TVING’s “Island,” hit series & he’s presently shooting his next movie “Good Day to BeDog” wherein he features as the male protagonist Seo Won.
