Lee Jong Suk interview with Esquire
The star Lee Jong Suk (LJS) had previously stated, “I’m searching for the essence,” during his interview with EKM. He continued on his earlier remark when the interviewer mentioned it, adding, “I believe [essence] signifies a ‘principle’ & someone’s basic ‘ideology.'” Also, to live while seeking it out & protecting it’s not bad or evil, in my opinion.
However, if you accept that & convince others they’ve to follow it as well, that is when you turn into a kkondae (so, a word typically used to characterise an elder individual who’s really arrogant or uses seniority to justify their behavior).
I believe the purpose I mentioned, “I’m searching for the essence,” it was due to previously, I was a bit shaken at that period. People hit their thirties, everybody experiences that phase. I used to believe that people would truly understand me back when I (LJS) was in early twenties, but now, I’m in my thirties, I should treat everyone I encounter and converse with more maturity. It’s a period when you have to become mature/ adult in everything, that occurs. In addition, I believe I was contemplating about these matters because I was coming back home after a challenging period of military duty.
Talks about IU
After that, The reporter questioned whether “that person” (means IU) provided him with a lot of support at the time. LJS joked while laughing & remarked, Is that how you ask an unexpected question like this? So, “Her presence itself provides me [a spot to] depend on & strength,” the actor began, But apart from myself, many other people also find solace in her music, songs, & consoling lyrics.
The very same applies to me as well. The only distinction is that when I’m speaking [with her], I experience that level of comfort. However, more importantly, we’ve been close friends for quite a while, and I think she’s the funniest person/human in the world.
Plus, in addition, Lee Jong Suk remarked, “We’ve been friends/buddies from the period I was in twenties (mid) so, we first encountered when we both were young. Therefore, I feel that I’d like to mature more/ even further when IU says to me, “U have become mature now. Plus, I tell myself, “I really like to grow into a greater human being than I’m right now.”
