'The Glory' Actor Lee Do Hyun Enlists In The First Half Of The Year

The most famous actor from ‘The Glory’ and ’18 Again’, Lee Do Hyun will enlist in the first half of this year.

Lee Do Hyun is getting ready to enlist in the military after completing filming all of the upcoming projects for this year, according to JTBC Enternews reported on Feb 2.

Until he joins the military, he will concentrate on shooting his upcoming projects. It is notable that he is rearranging his timetable in order to join the line that does not affect the work. The entire shooting process is expected to be finished by March.

Agency’s Reply to Rumour

In response, a representative of his agency, named Yuehua Entertainment, clarified the untrue rumors by stating that the conversation over his enlistment is still ongoing and that “Nothing has been determined so far though. Since it involves compulsory service, we’ll let you know as soon as a decision is made.” The spokesman then clarified that the claims were false, ultimately putting an end to it.

About Lee Do Hyun

Although Lee Do Hyun, born in 1995, has sufficient time to enlist, he has no intention of waiting. In past interviews, he has repeatedly expressed his goals and desires in serving in the military.

He had his acting debut in the year 2017 through tvN’s famous drama serial “Prison Playbook,” and since then, he has worked on JTBC’s channel “18 Again,” KBS 2TV’s “Youth in May,” plus Netflix’s series “Sweet Home,” earning praise for his consistent acting abilities.

In the popular Netflix series “The Glory,” Lee Do Hyun recently plays YeoJeong, a doctor who joins and helps her (Song Hye Kyo) in getting revenge. On Mar 10, 2023, Part 2 of “The Glory” will air, and also he will make an appearance with Ra MiRan also Ahn Eunjin in JTBC’s upcoming drama serial “Bad Mother.”
