BTS’ Suga makes history as the 3rd Kpop soloist star to dominate 6 weeks on BB 200.
Suga’s 1st official solo project/ album continues to rank on the (BB) Billboard charts more than 30 days since its release!
Furthermore, Yoongi’s solo album “DDAY” entered the Hot 200 Music chart at #2 the previous month.
Suga, whose 2020 mixtape, namely “D2” peaked at #11, became the very 1st Kpop artist to hit the Top Twenty with two distinct albums.
Furthermore, “DDAY” continuously stayed on the BB 200 throughout the week ended June 3, peaking at #131, where it spent a record-breaking 5th straight week.
Yoongi is now only the 3rd Korean pop solo artist to ever remain an entire span of 6 weeks on the (BB) Billboard 200, thanks to this accomplishment.
Album sales & Current album Selling chart
In the meantime maintaining 16th place on both the Hot Album Sales chart & Hot Current Album Selling chart (SC) outside of the BB, “DDAY” maintained its position at #5 on the BB World Albums chart.
Last but not least, Suga spent his 7th whole & 6th week as moniker Agust D charting at #81 on the (BBA) Billboard Artist 100.
Many many congratulations to Min Yoongi!
