Kim Heechul from a band named “Super Junior” publicly apologized for the statements he made during a previous live stream.

On Thursday 9 Feb, Kim Heechul participated as a guest on a live show (BJ Choi’s show) that aired on AfreecaTV. During the live stream, he was drinking alcohol. Moreover, due to his defense of Kangin (he’s a former teammate) even though he’d previously been engaged in a case (drunk driving case) but, also scandal, in addition to his using foul language during the broadcast’s topic of school bullying. Heechul was eventually drawn into the issue.

So on Monday 13 Feb, he uploaded an apology on Insta regarding his statements.

“Regardless of whether my opinions are correct or not, I apologise for using swear words, vulgar expressions, & displaying a double standard.

I sincerely apologise to my followers who were upset by the controversy that I caused once again. It will be the final time happened & I’ll try my very best to avoid causing any controversy again in the future.

Although, no matter how I keep thinking back on what I said, I still think not wrong to curse at (those who engage in violence) & on specific websites.

Thank you.”
